(example:you're pretty the way you are) i would recommend this book to any teen or young adult who likes fiction. Pretties was good but left me with an eerie feeling. Specials is one of the only books I have absolutely put down. It glorifies cutting and feeling bubbly. It is an awful message for tweens and teens. I was very disappointed. I read a great deal, but this is not something I would recommend to anyone. I enjoyed Uglies.
