Readers!
Now that I have a blog management system that allows me to have multiple writers, I would love to solicit reviewers. Anyone who reads books aimed at tweens and teens is eligible. If you already review tween and teen lit on your own site and want to mirror the reviews here (with a link back to your own site,) you certainly can do that. Kids are welcome to review here. Register and comment on this post if you’re interested in reviewing books for this site. If we’ve already reviewed a book you want to talk about, you can post your review in the comment section or add a trackback!
Hi there!
I just found out I’m a ‘tween novelist! Let me back up. I’m Steven Lee Climer, fantasy and horror novelist of children’s/YA books.
Recently, my 7 year-old daughter informed my that my fantasy series Pieces of the World from Silver Lake Publishing (www.silverlakepublishing.com) was in fact a ‘Tween book. Her class is reading them, but hated the term Children’s book.
What a revelation!
Kindest Regards,
Steven

Congratulations! Thanks for stopping by my site. ‘Tweens are at such an interesting stage. They’re not “children” any more, but they’re definitely not ready for teen themes yet. That’s one of the reasons I find them and their literature so interesting. And, yep, if you call a book for them a children’s book, forget ever getting them to read it!
